Good News | Jinshan Xi Shengyu Project Won "Golden Steel Award‘’

Recent announcements of the 2021–2022 Shanghai Construction Metal Structure "Golden Steel Award" results show that Open Architecture (general contracting) and Open Steel (steel subcontracting) jointly completed the Shanghai Jinxi Shengyu Railway Robot Intelligent Delivery Center Project, which was awarded the prize.

The most prestigious and authoritative award in China's steel structure industry, the Shanghai Construction Metal Structure "Golden Steel Award" (Municipal Quality Engineering) was created in 1996 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal Construction Industry Management Office. The award is part of the Shanghai Municipal Quality Engineering series and bears the honor of Municipal Quality Engineering. Before, during, and after the project, Oben maintains control over the major project elements, including project quality, project scale, construction difficulty, technical innovation, and management system. This guarantees that the building process complies with specifications and design plans.

The Jinshan Xishengyu project covers a total construction area of 48,000 square meters, with a total height of 23.9 meters. It consists of three above-ground floors and has a floor live load capacity of 20 kN/m². The project utilizes the Jiaoke frame structural system, VR-II wall panels, and RP-SSR standing seam roofing system
The Jinshan Xishengyu project employs OPEN's self-developed Jiaoke frame structural system, which eliminates the need for formwork and supports, thereby reducing overall construction costs and significantly lowering on-site labor requirements. This prefabrication concept embodies the low-carbon, environmentally friendly development trend in the construction industry. During construction, OPEN's project team established a comprehensive quality management system, strictly controlling key processes such as the welding of Jiaoke columns and beams, and the concrete pouring of Jiaoke columns. All aspects of performance and process evaluation met excellent standards
