National "Workplace Safety Month" - OPEN Group Safety Education Event

June marks the 24th National "Workplace Safety Month" in China, with the theme "Safety for Everyone, Emergency Skills for All – Identify Hazards Around Us." On June 10th, a safety education event organized by the OPEN Quality & Safety Department and involving multiple departments was held at the Fengxian Vilon Project.

Opening Remarks

OPEN President Chen Ming delivered the opening speech. Using practical case studies and personal insights, he emphasized the paramount importance of safety awareness and management – "Safety is always the top priority." He highlighted that such activities enhance everyone's safety awareness, ensuring the company's future engineering projects can be executed more safely and smoothly.

Department heads from the Intelligent Manufacturing Department, Quality & Safety Department, Steel Structure Engineering Department, General Contracting Division, and Industrial Building Division also participated in the event, sharing their understanding of safety and management experiences.

Safety Drills

To effectively enhance the emergency response capabilities of construction personnel, the event specially invited Mr. Xu, General Manager of Shanghai Dongxu Construction Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd. (an accident prevention service provider). Mr. Xu explained knowledge related to CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants, followed by practical demonstrations. Manager Hu from the Quality & Safety Department explained the functions of various personal protective equipment (PPE) in the safety experience zone. A balance and coordination test was also set up, simulating a high-altitude work environment to raise safety awareness and prevent accidents.

The event also prepared gift packs containing daily necessities and heatstroke prevention supplies for the project's construction workers. Attendees signed their names on a backdrop to express their commitment to safety.
