Roofpro Introduction
 Bigger purlin span is more and more preferred in modern building. It is self-evident that the indoor space with big purlin span makes the building flexible in function as well as gives people capacious feeling. At China market, the purlins normally spans 6-9 meters due to the 9 meter's economic span of the common cold formed thin purlin. We can find the typical column grid arrangement of 18m×18m, which is different from our traditional rectangular layout of column grid, from the plan of workshop of newly formed foreign corporations in China. It approves the fact that joist purlin has been used widely abroad as a standard roof secondary beam, but it is still new to our national steel construction industry.
At present, OPEN roofpro joist purlin can extend the maximum span of 20 meters. The industrial roof joist purlin can be designed to reach the longest span of 35 meters. However, the roof sheet can be fixed directly to the joist top chord of cold formed plate, without using of small secondary purlin, to realize an easy installation of roof. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the transporting difficulty and cost, the ultra long joist will be divided into parts as required by customers. You can easily use the joist by splicing them simply with high strength bolts at site. The divided joists also make it easier to deliver them at site. After dividing the 20 meters long joist into two parts, it can only be carried by labor, not machine, to the specified place.
